Job description

In recent years, we have developed various concepts to give substance to public-private partnerships with municipalities, such as regional work centres, virtual talent centres, pioneering, district approach Amsterdam Zuidoost and a pilot with COA at the municipality of Almere. We do this to guide and mediate people who are unemployed towards work. We also coach municipal employees with career issues and guide employees from sick to work. For this broad portfolio, we are looking for an experienced sales manager to strengthen our sales team. Risesmart is part of Randstad Enterprise and our sales team is part of the Risesmart EMEA sales organisation. You will therefore not only work with colleagues in the Netherlands within RiseSmart and the government, but also with Randstad Enterprise's international colleagues.

what are you going to do?

You will approach organisations within the government (especially municipalities) with issues relating to non-work-to-work, coaching and second-track reintegration. By holding regular meetings at tactical and strategic level, you know what is going on. You know exactly how Randstad RiseSmart can make a difference in this. This means that developing solutions (business development and social innovation) is part of your job. Offering the right solution that meets the needs of our customers and participants, that's your job!

Who do you work with?

Just as important as building a good relationship with clients, is maintaining your internal Randstad network. You will work together with a team of specialists within Randstad RiseSmart. From this team, you will have contact both in the Netherlands and in an international network. Within this network, we work together to develop RiseSmart and translate customer demand into customised solutions. This means writing tenders together, conducting interviews and presenting. The working language is mostly Dutch, but RiseSmart is part of randstad Enterprise where the working language is English, so we think it is important that you speak both languages.

In addition, you know how to convince your potential client to enter into a partnership with Randstad and you also use Randstad's wider network. You are the director who ensures that Randstad RiseSmart's services are optimally aligned with the client's wishes.

About you

Talking to clients and business development within the government is right up your street.

You have at least 2 years' experience with complex strategic sales projects, preferably in government, you are a high-level discussion partner and/or you have experience in the public-private playing field.

You have self-insight and can reflect, you have guts, you are persistent and persuasive: you dare to come up with unusual solutions to win new contracts.

As a born networker, you make contacts quickly, negotiate with natural superiority at strategic level, convince with flair and have a large dose of enthusiasm.

Fluent in English and Dutch.
