Abbott Vascular is a dynamic commercial entity of Abbott, focused on interventional cardiology and medical devices. We provide innovating products to hospitals and patients.
The Role
The Customer service representative is responsible for resolving product and service problems, by clarifying the customers needs. You will actively handle orders within the medical domain and follow up with customers. The role requires you to be proactive and a good communicator. The primary location is Diegem, Belgium.
Responsibilities
Assist with placement of orders, credit notes, returns, etc from Belgium and Nederland's
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
Manage of incoming calls
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Resolve customer complaints via phone, email
Check and follow up of customer inventories
Handle product recalls, product experience report
Work with customer service supervisor to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Experience in customer service
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Experience with MS office, knowledge of SAP is an asset
You need to speak and wright fluently in Dutch and French, and in additionally English is an advantage.
