Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Wholesale Distribution industry. This role is based in Dickinson, Texas, and requires on-site presence. The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting purposes

• Manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Conduct regular account reconciliation

• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Participate in the month-end close process

• Collaborate with the Accounting team to streamline financial operations

• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Use Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis

• Oversee payroll activities to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time

• Maintain precise records for future reference and auditing. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with generally accepted bookkeeping principles

• Fast and accurate Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in conducting Month End Close procedures

• Ability to manage Payroll operations

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software.
