Sr. Procurement Analyst, Operations

The Procurement Sr. Analyst, Operations is responsible for operational execution of procurement strategies and serves as the liaison between procurement and the broader organization. This role involves receiving feedback from internal customers such as Planning, Manufacturing and QA regarding supplier performance and driving improvement with suppliers as necessary. The role will collect and evaluate data from various sources, including supplier performance metrics, market trends, inventory levels, and financial indicators. The Procurement Operations Analyst will also collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-saving opportunities, assess supplier capabilities, manage procurement risks, and drive continuous improvement reduce Total Cost of Ownership.

  • Act as liaison between Planning, Manufacturing and Procurement.

  • Responsible for drafting service level agreements (SLA) with suppliers as well as maintaining and communicating scorecards and internal KPIs to suppliers and internal team members.

  • Build value-add operational relationships with suppliers to achieve desired results for Niagara through direct interface with supplier or via leadership and relevant stakeholders.

  • Lead day-to-day supplier management to drive supplier performance

  • Provide operational feedback and insights to Procurement Team to assist in the development of category strategies.

  • Conduct analysis on large data sets to analyze impacts, spend, volume and quality to assist in supplier negotiations.

  • Maintain centralized repository of relevant procurement continuous improvement projects; responsible for updating timelines and calculating cost savings / avoidance.

  • Lead the implementation of supplier technology solutions that provide supply/demand visibility between suppliers and Niagara.

  • Conduct analysis to find procurement opportunities and provide objective insights that aid decision-making.

  • Support the raw material qualification process with Engineering, QA and Beverage Development.

  • Work cross-functionally within Niagara (with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA, and Engineering) to accomplish departmental goals and gain support internally.

  • This position requires travel up to 10%.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
