UnitedHealth Group Vendor/Partner Manager - Remote in Detroit, Michigan

We are actively seeking multiple Senior Business Analysts of various backgrounds (e.g. Computer Science, Communication, Psychology, Education etc.) to drive program success for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Digital Transformation Center (DTC) OMEGA program.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the primary relationship manager across diverse audiences from technology partners, customers, end users, executive leadership, and vendors, for the OMEGA program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary Stakeholder POC: VA Leadership, technology partners, customers, end users, executive leadership, and vendors

  • Drive program success by identifying areas for improvement obtained through surveys, team input and other types of communication

  • Liase between VA business and VA leadership for approval to proceed

  • Facilitate meetings with appropriate OMEGA Teams, VA leadership, VA business and stakeholders, to obtain final determination and team handoff

  • Use VA approved tool for maintaining documents (contracts, license purchases, agreements, purchase/funding receipts, reports, presentations etc.), for VA reference and audits as well as for activity/communication tracking

  • Managing, maintaining and assessing Marketplace products

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional experience with One industry recognized cloud/cyber certification - CCSK, Security+, SSCP, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, demonstrating a solid ability to facilitate business process improvements

  • 3+ years of experience using collaborative, process management and diagramming tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucid Chart, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience leveraging Agile best practices/methodologies to dynamically manage multiple projects with work in progress that may have dependencies

  • Experience working with leadership, business stakeholders

  • Expert in managing relationships across diverse audiences from technology partners, customers, end users, executive leadership, and vendors to objectively communicate project deliverables, expectations, and contingencies

  • Expert in creating meaningful visualizations based on target audience

  • Ability to strategize across audiences by applying knowledge of business architecture and LCNC system of system engineering to identify, manage, and resolve solution delivery risks, future requirements, and prioritization change management

  • Reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and all work must be conducted in the United States

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

  • Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86 (https://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Government sector experience supporting delivery of large scale federal programs within the VA or DOD community

  • One industry recognized project management certification

  • Knowledge of various cloud technologies, including Salesforce, Microsoft Platform, Appian, or Pega or various SaaS solutions

As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or NACLC). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.

Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
