Henry Ford Health System Transplant Hepatologist in Detroit, Michigan

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking an additional Transplant Hepatologist at Main Campus, Henry Ford Health, Detroit, Michigan. This is an outstanding opportunity to join the largest liver transplant program inMichigan. This person would join a well-established team of 9 hepatologists and 6 transplant surgeons who perform over 120 liver transplants per year. Our team has a well-established record of accomplishment in patient care, teaching and clinical research.

The candidate must be board certified in Gastroenterology and have experience in Hepatology and liver transplantation. Responsibilities will include evaluation and management of patients with liver disease and liver transplantation, teaching of fellows, residents and students in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, evaluation of transplant candidates and participation in the clinical research efforts of the Division and Transplant Institute. Academic appointment is available through affiliation with Michigan State University and will be commensurate with training and experience.
