R1 RCM eLearning Developer in Detroit, Michigan

The eLearning Developer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a broad range of learning solutions, such as eLearning courses, online performance aids, and multimedia presentations. This person will develop new computer-based activities, custom online learning interactions, online courses, interactive assessments, and videos. In this role, the successful candidate will have a strong training background along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Here’s What You Can Expect:

  • Partners with content experts to select learning strategies, media, implementation methods and evaluation methods that engage employees and promote meaningful learning.

  • Acts as a project lead and mentor to encourage the development of eLearning skills other associates.

  • Utilizes communication, technical and reporting skills to implement and track online materials using a learning management system and related websites technologies.

  • Provides support for existing educational materials, courses, websites and systems as directed.

  • Perform physical preparation of eLearning training including production and maintenance of course materials and evaluations inside the R1 digital platform, the learning management system, and other platforms.

  • Understand workflow, policies and procedures related to end user role and work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the most current information is being conveyed.

  • Evaluate virtual training programs and incorporate feedback to improve future programs.

  • Maintain knowledge of all hospital systems and R1 applications as they pertain to support needs and design procedures that apply them in the most effective way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of an accredited college/technical program in web/multimedia design.

  • Three years’ experience successfully creating custom, interactive online learning activities using multiple scripting, animation and authoring tools and strategies.

  • Proficient in the use of image editing, graphic design, web design, eLearning interaction scripting, and eLearning course authoring tools.

  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, team collaboration, and creative skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop educational materials.

  • Experience facilitating self-directed education for adult learners.

  • Experience with the following applications: Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, and other virtual training and authoring tools.

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Forms, Power Automate, PowerBI, and Project.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $40,720.00 - $50,900.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
