Henry Ford Health System Coordinator- Donor Services/Full Time/Detroit in Detroit, Michigan

The Coordinator of Donor Services will provide project coordination to the Donor Relations team using technical methods and administrative principles. The position is a hybrid model with one day per week in the Detroit office. It's an exciting time to join our team as we build a new hospital and research campus as well as other exciting projects in Detroit.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • · Support the Donor Relations team in stewardship of our donors.

  • · Coordinate special projects related to recognition, stewardship mailings, impact reporting, and documenting in Excel, Raiser’s Edge, and other platforms as needed.

  • Prepare and scan documents for electronic retention purposes, ensuring data quality and accuracy.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Requires an associate degree in business or an administrative field from a business school or college to compose and prepare a variety of confidential reports, tables, memorandums, etc.

  • A minimum of three to five years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary to gain in-depth understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operations

  • Microsoft programs knowledge is required.

  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are critical for working with existing donors and potential donors.

  • Prefer previous philanthropy / development experience.

  • Experience in a healthcare system a bonus.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

    · Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
