Aerotek Quality Inspector in Des Moines, Iowa

Description:

  • This is for a quality inspector role x1 D1 and x2 D2

  • Prefer candidates to have previous quality experience

  • Able to correctly inspect and test product according to instructions, engineering drawings, and training

  • Able to correctly use required tools, fixtures, rulers, testing equipment, etc. involved in the testing and

  • inspection processes

  • Inspect the quality of the materials and work in process

  • Perform specific step of the assembly process as part of a team

  • Stand or sit on assembly line to complete repetitive task daily

  • Use hands to grasp, finger, or handle objects and reach with hands and arms on routine tasks on continuing basis

  • Hand dexterity important

  • May operator machinery or use hand tools and/or fixtures as part of assembly process

  • Lift up to 25 pounds

  • Other duties maybe assigned as required

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Able to work on repetitive, continuous tasks

  • Able to work in a team of 20 people each having a different job on the line

  • Able to keep up with production assembly line

  • Lift up to 25 pounds (not repetitively, on occasion)

Experience Level:

  • Entry Level
