Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor maximizes the availability of all plant and equipment, ensuring the security of production while adhering to company operating policies and procedures. This role requires compliance with safety, legislative, environmental, and certifying authority requirements. The position involves using independent judgment and discretion in executing duties and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.

Work Environment

Shift: 1st, 7am-3pm, Monday - Friday (flexibility required). During peak season, the production floor may ramp up to 80 hours. Managers may work high amounts during peak season, with potential for weekend pay and plant incentives. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, safety glasses, and hearing protection on the production floor. The environment is a typical tire manufacturing facility with both old and new equipment, and it is not temperature controlled. The team size includes overseeing maintenance technicians.
