Description

We are seeking a Controller located in DePere, Wisconsin, United States to join our team. This role is crucial in overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, tax compliance, cost analysis, and process improvement initiatives. As a Controller, you will play a key role in our financial management processes, offering a hands-on role for a detail-oriented controller who can contribute to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor and interpret cash flows, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Monitor budget performance and conduct variance analysis.

• Implement best practices to streamline accounting processes.

• Recommend and execute improvements to financial policies and procedures.

• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

• Manage and mentor a small finance team.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ERP Solutions, and Accounting Functions.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Conduct Auditing, Budget Processes, and Budgeting - Forecasting.

• Engage in Cash Forecasting, Forecasting, Financial Statement Preparation, and Cost Analysis.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Expertise in ERP Solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures

• Knowledge of Budget Processes and Budgeting - Forecasting

• Experience in Cash Forecasting and Forecasting in general

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements

• Skilled in Cost Analysis
