Position Overview

The Autodesk Consulting team is looking for an accomplished, and dynamic individual to join our Americas Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Consulting Services team as an Implementation Consultant.

In this fully remote position reporting to the Americas AEC Business Line Manager, you will:

  • Engage with consulting engineering clients to position, implement and help adopt the Autodesk Water infrastructure solutions

  • Focus on providing guidance and services in using Civil 3D and InfoDrainage for design and enhancement of stormwater and sanitary sewer systems

  • Be able to plan and manage stormwater and wastewater systems at the city scale using InfoWorks ICM (desired)

  • Use your combination of industry knowledge, product knowledge to engage end-user clients quickly and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace

  • Not have any managerial responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • You will work with Autodesk's largest customers to design and implement stormwater management and sanitary sewer collection systems to ensure the greatest possible value from their Autodesk investment

  • You will analyze existing workflows and processes and demonstrate, map/integrate different AEC technologies to solve design and construction workflow inefficiencies

  • You will guide customers in the best application of Autodesk products; define and document detailed use cases

  • You will present proposed technical solution(s) and relate them to the customer's business issues

  • You will provide mentoring support and services to support customers through technical issues

  • You will configure solutions based on product capabilities and customer requirements

  • You will develop technical documentation for standards and workflows

  • You will collaborate with customers, external partners, and Autodesk partners to provide solutions and resolve technical issues

  • You will establish metrics for quantifying the customer's return on investment and justification for solution investment

  • You will provide feedback to service line management and product development groups on client experience for product and process improvements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related degree

  • You have at least three (3) years of experience working directly with BIM solutions, products, in Civil Engineering, Site Design and/or Transportation within the following areas:

  • Required experience with the process, workflow, and use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and InfoDrainage

  • Required experience with stormwater management design and analysis using industry-standard tools and methodologies (such as: TR-55, TR-20, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, EPA SWMM, StormCAD, HydroCAD, MS Excel, etc.)

  • Desired experience with the process, workflow, and use of Autodesk's Water Management solutions including InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS Pro / InfoWater Pro

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify project requirements and constraints

  • Provide advice on designing and optimizing stormwater management (including hydrology, hydraulic analysis, drainage, and erosion and sediment control) and sanitary sewer collection systems using Civil 3D and InfoDrainage

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $83,000 and $143,220. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
