As a step towards this vision, Blue Origin is building the next generation of lunar landers. In this role you will work as Thermal and Fluids Vehicle System Engineer within the Vehicle Integration Team on the lunar lander, focusing on the integration of fluids and thermal subsystems. You willlead cross-functional trade studies, define interfaces that impact temperatures and pressures across the lunar lander, and you will contribute to the launch vehicle and mission interface control documents. You should expect that this foundational part of our vision will require your excellent communication and teamwork.

This opportunity is within the Lunar Permanence Business Unit. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required.

Responsibilities:

Support the development and verifying the implementation of the Fluids/Thermal Interface Control Documents (ICD) in MK1 lunar lander vehicle.

Define tests and verifications activities for Mk1 lunar lander vehicle Fluids/Thermal ICD and own the verification Data package for the ICD

Track thermal conductivity for MK1 vehicle major components to provide inputs for vehicle thermal analysis

Review, scrub, and update MK1 vehicle Component Temperature List (CTL)

Contribute to the development and documentation of MK1 Fluids/Thermal vehicle requirements and verification data package

Lead or contribute to the vehicle level requirements and associated verification and test activities focused on thermal and fluids integration areas

Lead or contribute to the vehicle level risks focused on thermal and fluids integration areas
