A day in the life

Prologis is looking for a Tax Analyst to join an established tax team and make an immediate impact! This role will support our Corporate Tax Department and focus on U.S. domestic tax issues including: tax compliance, tax provision, technical research and notices.

Key responsibilities include: Compile information for the preparation of US income tax returns by outside tax preparers Prepare tax returns Help maintain tax records, filing systems and databases Prepare quarter end projects such as REIT testing and tax provisions Prepare taxable income projections Prepare estimated tax payments for federal and state tax liabilities Monitor compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations Maintain tax depreciation schedules and tax basis Respond to notices from taxing authorities Assist other areas within the Tax Department as needed

Building blocks for success

Required: Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance (tax focus) 1+ years experience in public accounting (Big 4 experience is a plus) MST and/or CPA desired Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills - both oral and written Strong computer skills a must: Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) Proficiency with tax software (e.g. ProSystems Axcess, Sage Fixed Assets, Bloomberg BNA) Able to prioritize and manage concurrent projects Positive attitude, enjoy analytical projects, eager to learn and embrace challenge

Hiring Salary Range of: $69,000 - $95,000 / annually. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
