Optiv is seeking an experienced Sr. Cloud Architect to be a thought leader in how to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for our Optiv Data Platform built on Azure Databricks. The Sr. Cloud Architect primary focus will be leading the efforts of building scalable and efficient data ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions to support our data-driven initiatives. You will join the Global Data and Digital Technology team that supports the data needs for internal stakeholders across all business functions

How you'll make an impact: Experiences with design, develop, and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions using Databricks for large-scale data processing and data integration projects. Lead the efforts of build and optimize data ingestion processes from various sources, ensuring data quality, reliability, and scalability. Perform data transformation tasks, including data cleansing, aggregation, enrichment, and normalization, using Databricks and related technologies. Lead the efforts of monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines, identifying and resolving performance issues, data quality problems, and other technical challenges. Responsible for implementing best practices for data governance, data security, and data privacy within the Databricks environment. Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize the performance and scalability of Databricks clusters and resources. Advise data engineer, providing guidance, sharing best practices and resources for their development, perform spot checks to monitor progress and work quality. Ability to communicate and present complex information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, both verbally and in writingincluding reference architecture diagrams and data flows Stay current on technology changes provide recommendations on enhancement of the system framework

What we're looking for: 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience 7+ years of experience in data warehouse technologies, preferably Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL) and Azure tech stack (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse) Strong SQL skills including DDL and DML Experience with data integration, APIs, data warehouse and analytical platforms Knowledge in DataOps and experience in delivering CI/CD and DevOps capabilities in a data environment. Working knowledge of Fivetran ETL platform Certification in Databricks Engineer Professional would be a plus.

Salary Range Description $105,000.00 - $161,000.00 Salary

The Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan.
