Oracle Senior Software Developer-Xstore & Omnichannel in Denver, Colorado

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Web Front End Developer to join our Omnichannel Demo Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and extending our Oracle Retail Omnichannel solutions, including XStore Point of service Suite, Store Inventory Operations, Customer Engagement, Order Management Suite, and Digital applications. Your expertise in configuring and extending Xstore will be crucial to our success.

If you have implemented DevOps practices container management and set up agile methodologies for project organization, this will be preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service Development:

  • Configure and extend Xstore to incorporate innovations and support local and fiscal requirements.

  • Ensure Xstore integrates seamlessly with other Oracle Retail Omnichannel solutions.

  • Demonstration Environment Maintenance:

  • Maintain a stable, always-available global demonstration environment.

  • Provide demonstration support to ensure uptime and reliability.

  • Develop monitoring tools to report on KPIs and demo health regularly.

  • Prepare and support marketing events by ensuring the demo environment is stable and ready.

  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution:

  • Work closely with development teams to rapidly fix issues.

  • Ensure new demo releases are stable, tested, and documented before release to Sales Consultants.

  • Maintain clear and shared documentation for all processes and updates.

  • Innovation and Value Addition:

  • Integrate AI features and innovations into the demo applications to deliver additional value.

  • Participate in customer demonstrations and marketing events to understand usage and proactively suggest improvements.

  • Hardware Management:

  • Manage demonstration hardware on behalf of the Sales consulting Team

  • DevOps Implementation (optional):

  • Implement and manage DevOps practices including version control (Git), build tools (Maven), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Deploy and manage Xstore containers efficiently and effectively.

  • Agile Methodology (optional):

  • Establish and promote agile practices within the team.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Encourage continuous improvement and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Web Front-end development.

  • Strong Expertise of Point of Service configuration and extension.

  • Extensive experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JET and JS Framework like React, Angular, etc..

  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrating them into applications.

  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven).

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration focus .

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile team environment.

  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

  • Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in full stack development.

  • Proven experience of Point Of Service configuration and extension.

  • Experience implementing and managing DevOps practices.

  • Experience setting up and working within an agile development environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Omnichannel solutions.

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.

  • Understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools.

  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Developer).

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
