Maxim Healthcare Services is in need of a Patient Driver to transport a quadriplegic homecare patient to and from his dialysis appointments 3 days/week. Patient lives in Green Valley Ranch, and has his own handicap-accessible van that you will drive.

Responsibilities

• Drive the patient and his homecare RN to/from dialysis appointments at Davita Aurora Dialysis Center.

• Assist the homecare RN with loading/unloading patient from the van.

• Meet at patient's home to load him into the van and drive him to the appointment.

• You can either stay with the patient during the appointment, or drive the van back to his house and return for it later to pick him up.

• Return to the hospital with the van to drive patient home.

  Hours

• Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

• 10:30am-12:30am (transport from home to appointment)

• 3:30pm-5:30pm (transport from appointment to home)

  • You can either stay clocked-in at the hospital during the appointment, or clock-out and return for second shift

  Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for the state of Colorado.

• Good driving record & history.

• Current CPR certification, based on state requirements.

• Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray.

  Pay Information

• $19-$20/hour
