Robert Half Part-Time Sr. Accountant in Denver, Colorado

Description

We are offering a short-term, part-time contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Denver, Colorado. This role is within a local nonprofit organization and involves utilizing your in-depth knowledge of Sage Intacct. As a Sr. Accountant, you'll be responsible for various tasks such as account reconciliation, general ledger management, and documentation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliation tasks diligently and accurately to ensure the company's financial records are correct.

• Handle bank reconciliations, reviewing and rectifying any discrepancies in the records.

• Oversee the management of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Prepare and post journal entries, contributing to the organization's financial transparency.

• Use Microsoft Excel and SAP for various accounting tasks and data management.

• Utilize Sage Intacct for various financial operations, leveraging its features for efficient accounting practices.

• Create, maintain, and update documentation related to financial processes and user manuals.

• Conduct end-user training sessions for employees to understand the use of Sage Intacct and other accounting software.

• Ensure that all software documentation is up-to-date and accessible to all relevant staff.

• Continually review and improve process documentation, contributing to the efficiency of the organization's financial operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or a related field

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations

• Strong knowledge and experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are mandatory

• Experience with SAP and Sage Intacct

• Must have excellent documentation skills including Process Documentation, Software documentation, and User Documentation

• Experience in providing End User Training

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required

• CPA certification is a plus

• Must be authorized to work in the country.
