Schedule: Full-time

Shift : Days, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM MT

Location: 2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210

The role you’ll contribute:

Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. Responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation. Troubleshoots equipment problems and communicates needs to leader. Assists the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating patient, physician, and staff needs. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

  • Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by a RN.

  • Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members. Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals.

  • Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.

  • Reports patient status changes and needs to RN accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • High School Diploma or GED, graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program

  • Current state CNA

  • BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
