Maxim Healthcare is looking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide assistance to a patient in Lakewood, Colorado with daily living tasks, under the supervision of a registered nurse. The patient is a 71 y/o male with paraplegia needing 4 intermittent visits per day for ADL assistance.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding, assisting nurses with medical equipment, and checking patient vital signs.

• Giving patients important social and emotional support.

• Providing vital information on patient conditions to nurses.

• Other Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) duties as assigned.

Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 12pm-1pm

• Fridays: 8am-9:30am, 12pm-1pm, 3pm-4pm

• Saturday-Sunday: 8am-9:30am, 12pm-1pm, 3pm-4pm, 6pm-7pm

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered state certification to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

• Minimum one year of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) experience required, based on state requirements.

• Current CPR certification, based on state requirements.

• Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements.

• Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray.

Pay

• $20 - $24 an hour

• $41600 - $49920 per year
