Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as an Epic Interface Development Manager. The Manager will be responsible for technology solutions and delivery of key Retail IT projects.

The Epic Interface Development Manager is a liaison position coordinating Minute Clinic projects between Business and Minute Clinic IT. The Manager will be responsible for leading solutions and integration for Minute Clinic & Epic Applications including web application and services and working with external vendors and other internal teams within CVS. This position will also be a key leader and a visionary to the technology direction and roadmap for Enterprise business capabilities in Minute Clinic. This position will influence business leaders and technical leads in achieving CVS Health strategic goals using reusable, highly reliable retail assets. The Manager will also be responsible for all stages of the Minute Clinic project life cycle – PRF, BEG, Requirements, Design, Build, QA, Deploy and Warranty. This role will also serve as an integral partner in the business development process and ensure that assigned projects comply with the CVS Health roadmaps and standards. The Manager will also oversee projects and have meetings with architects and BAs as well as support PMs to ensure project timelines are met. The right candidate will provide technical expertise, mentor the team and the broader organization. The Manager will provide inputs to designs and technical solutions to facilitate decision making and mitigate development and implementation risks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring throughout all stages of the SDLC

  • Lead teams, technical projects, and has overall leadership responsibility for project architecture, design, development, and support

  • Effectively manage internal and vendor resources from idealization to delivery

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience with Interface Engines; NextGen Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Intersystem Ensemble, IIB

  • 5+ years’ experience in Unix scripting, java script coding, and performance tuning of Integration Engines

  • 5+ years’ experience in XML/XSLT, SVN, GIT, Unit Testing, MS Visio

  • 5+ years’ experience working with Distributed systems, knowledge in load balancing, caching, messaging

  • 5+ years’ experience in integration with CareEverywhere, and integration with external Clinical Systems (HIE)

  • 5+ years’ experience of experience managing large Retail Applications

  • 5+ years’ experience leading and managing a large IT team consisting of internal and external resources

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience applying understanding of the complete SDLC

  • 5+ years’ experience building/supporting API solution

  • 5+ years’ experience managing large Retail Applications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
