Job Title: Divisional Statistician FLSA Status: Part-time, non-exempt Reports to: Divisional Program Secretary Schedule: PT, Monday-Friday Supervises: N/A Rate of Pay: $22.05/hour Closing Date: 7/3/2024 Benefits: Standard; Part-Time, non-exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following: Sick leave benefit - 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual and availability begins at hire) Vacation benefit - 20 vacation days per year, (pro-rated for part-time hours) accrued at the rate of .0769 hours for each hour worked (accrual begins at hire but may not be used until the completion of six months of employ Voluntary Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan (403(b)plan) Function: The Divisional Statistician is responsible for updating and maintaining all statistical records and reports for the Intermountain Division. This position will seek to turn raw data collected into organized and insightful information, to be used by Corps and DHQ departments. Duties and Responsibilities: Generate all statistical reports from Corps, SE units & DMSS monthly Prepare necessary reports and transfer statistical information to THQ monthly or as needed Review all monthly statistics; generate departmental reports as requested Coordinate statistical and membership roll training for Field Officer/Employees as needed Maintain open communication with all Corps SE & DMSS to assist with accurate statistical reporting Prepare necessary forms for annual Program Reviews and Membership Roll Revisions Assist with preparation of reports for the IM Divisions annual command review Filter data by reviewing reports and identifying any statistical recording errors Prepare analysis reports for DHQ departments, Corps, SE, and DMSS, enabling them to make data driven decisions based on facts and trends Other duties assigned by the Divisional Secretary for Program

Qualification and Education Requirements: AA Degree or two years' experience in administrative work Possess excellent oral and written communication skills Friendly and personable. Excellent Customer Service skills required Must work well with others Familiarity with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) Ability to maintain integrity and highest level of confidentiality of personnel, payroll, volunteer, central registry, and criminal background information Highly detail oriented and outstanding organizational skills Knowledge of The Salvation Army mission, philosophy, culture, protocol and organizational structure preferred Must have ability to work well independently in a detailed, professional and courteous manner Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while keeping attention to detail Capable of meeting deadlines Advanced proficiency in data entry and analysis Supportive of The Salvation Army's mission. Ability to reflect and model the high standards of our organization as one of the world's most distinguished human services charitable organizations Salvationist preferred

Software-related skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are required. Working knowledge of integrated database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training. Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone. Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Ability to access and produce information from the computer. Ability to understand written information.
