Call Your Mother Deli Delivery Driver/Prep Team Member in Denver, Colorado

CYM is a neighborhood bagel shop and deli with locations in DC, MD, VA, weekly farmer’s markets throughout the DMV, and new shops in Denver, Colorado. We’re hiring a Delivery Driver/Prep Team Member

The Delivery Driver/Prep Team Member is responsible for preparing, assembling and packaging food items while adhering to food safety, food handling and sanitation procedures. You will also be responsible for dividing and transporting products from our commissary location to our multiple stores in a timely and safe manner.

    A day in the life of a Delivery Driver/Prep Team Member: 

  • Receive vendor deliveries and put away/organize as needed

  • Prep items needed following CYM SOP’s high standards

  • Assemble and package fresh food products according to health and safety guidelines

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with commissary and kitchen staff

  • Report any equipment malfunction or maintenance needed to the MOD

  • Maintain professional conduct at all times

  • Reviews daily packing list/sales order fulfillment invoices for all locations

  • Separates prepared products in central commissary location for multiple store sites

  • Loads delivery vehicle efficiently and safely with daily delivery products, ensuring all food and beverage meets food safety standards

  • Achieves delivery metrics, ensuring products are delivered on time to our mobile food trailer and associate locations

  • Other duties and tasks assigned by the Manager on Duty 

    Additional Requirements:

  • A driver’s license and clean driving record

  • At least 24 years of age

  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work holidays and weekends

  • Able to squat, bend, stoop, push and reach

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods

  • Able to read, write and effectively communicate 

  • Ability to have flexibility in schedule 

  • Ability to get to and from all shops via transportation of choice in a timely manner

  • Shifts worked in this position have a starting salary of $18.29/hour plus tips when working as a driver, $18.29/hour plus tips when working as a regular team member
