HDR is seeking a Dams, Levees, and Civil Works Business Class Lead in Colorado. This is a leadership role that involves project management, business development, as well as planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of entry and mid-level professionals. This role is responsible for identifying and executing, with teams of staff, the multiple HDR services needed by dams, levees, and civil works clients. The position will coordinate projects with inter-related disciplines such as hydrology, hydraulics, structural, geology, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, CADD and GIS. Primary Responsibilities: Take responsibility for area coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of business class staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers, all within direction and goals of business class plans. Participate in delivery of project services to meet client expectations. Collaborate on business class efforts with area operations, marketing and project management. Participate in business class practice and professional discipline groups, project teams and activities to continually improve standards and best practices, and implement effective quality assurance and quality control review Participate in business class strategic planning, budgeting and plan implementation. Lead the technical delivery and utilization of business class staff. This position may be required to review design and construction submittals for compliance with applicable codes, design standards, project requirements, and contract documents. Participate in work-sharing with regional and national groups and subject matter experts. Engage in supporting development of technical scope of works and fee proposals, as well as responses to RFP's related to dams, levees, floodplains, and civil works services. Further develop the Dam, Levee and Flood Risk Management Program by identifying additional projects and clients that will drive growth. Exhibit excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients and the demonstrate expertise in managing several complex tasks simultaneously. Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Civil, structural, water resources or geotechnical engineering preferred. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field 10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience experienced in development and management of diverse teams Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
