As a Coax Splicer Foreman, you will have the chance to develop your management and leadership skills as you lead a team of Coax Splicers who produce high-quality work while using specialized skills in splicing, and activations, testing, troubleshooting, and more to make a difference. In addition, you will: Give direction to multiple crews and their job site activities Develop your team's skillset and knowledge of telecom construction Provide a high level of customer service when interfacing with customers Lead by example and support the company-wide safety culture Drive your team to meet deadlines and produce quality projects Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable Manage all aspects of jobsite construction Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers) Read CATV telecommunication design and prints Work in outdoor utility construction sites Qualifications

About You: Safety is a value you live by You have 3+ years of splicing and sweeping Embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team You are comfortable working on ladder or bucket truck You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtime
