Job Description Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a Building Performance Engineer. Responsibilities include: Preparing energy analysis and building performance design consulting for commercial new construction projects and major renovations for high performance and zero net energy and carbon projects Understanding of current ASHRAE guidelines and communicate to clients Reading and understanding construction documents, floor plans, specifications, and detail Documenting and submitting projects for LEED, permit, United Facility Criteria, or Federal Guiding Principles Responsible for timely completion of specific tasks within assigned projects Prepares and monitor budgets for specific tasks within assigned projects Attends client meetings The successful candidate must have: A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or architecture from an accredited four-year college or university At least 4 years of relevant experience LEED AP certified Building energy modeling experience using OpenStudio / EnergyPlus Building information model and CAD experience (REVIT and Sketchup)

Pay range depending on experience: $85,000 - $100,000
