JPMorgan Chase Asset Management - Retirement Link Relationship Manager - Vice President in Denver, Colorado

Job Summary:

As a Relationship Manager within our Sales team, you will be managing a small-sized 401(k) plans portfolio, working closely with clients and advisors, and maintaining relationships with key local institutional partners. This role will also foster and maintain relationships with local key institutional partners servicing the J.P. Morgan book of business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships across all levels and functional areas of client organizations

  • Protecting and growing revenue from assigned plans

  • Leading internal and external client teams in the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical business plan to meet/exceed the expectations of the client in: administration, investment management, communications and plan design

  • Reviewing each client relationship to ensure alignment with Retirement Link goals and Know Your Customer Policy

  • Serving as the primary contact for existing clients for strategic account issues

  • Negotiating ongoing service and profitability issues

  • Assuming the leadership role for client relationship internally by including resources from operations, investment management, communications and consulting associates as appropriate - acting as the voice of the client with the organization

  • Participating in finals presentations and site visits by building rapport with prospective clients and directing the site visit in a way that demonstrates the Relationship Manager's ongoing accountability to the client

  • Obtaining continuing education in the employee benefits and investment management fields

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in the retirement industry

  • The position requires client relationship skills, knowledge of investments, retirement products and services,

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Negotiation, influencing, communication and presentation skills

  • Series 6 or 7 and 63 licensees
