What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior DTC Analyst at Altra looks a little like this:
As the Senior DTC Analyst, you will study on-site, consumer, and transactional data from our ecommerce and owned retail stores. Combining proven analytics thinking with brand acumen, you’ll partner with the DTC Manager and stakeholders across the brand (marketing, ecommerce, operations, product, etc) to unearth actionable insights that support and guide strategic and tactical decision making. This includes conversion rate optimization (CRO) implementation and strategy, data management, and visualization to inform cross-functional strategic decisions and ecommerce opportunities. This role is located in our Denver, CO headquarters.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. This role:
Designs, builds, implements, and reports on all ecommerce conversion rate optimization efforts that uncover winning opportunities through testing and feeds our future development roadmap
Leads in determining and reducing customer friction points in the sales funnel and partners with UX and design teams to structure tests and site updates
Supports daily data flows, reporting, and ad-hoc analytics and assists with ecommerce forecasts
Understands and deciphers an Altra consumer’s purchase behaviors and profiles (demographics, behaviors, and characteristics)
Serves as the “pulse of the business”, knowing our DTC and user behavior metrics better than anyone, comprehending dashboard architecture, and utilizing knowledge to assist stakeholders across the brand
Uncovers and reports on trends and anomalies regarding conversion and checkout, new vs. returning customers, basket analysis, consumer profiles, and other ecommerce indicators
Forms clear, decision-impacting stories and visualizations, understood by audiences at all levels
Helps understand our customer segments intimately and ensures marketing partners can activate against these segments
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 4+ years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Experience with CRO strategy and testing implementation (familiarity with Monetate and Content Square a plus)
BI platform experience (ideally BigQuery, Tableau Prep, Tableau, and/or Power BI)
A general curiosity for database ecosystems, an analytical mindset, and an enjoyment of numbers and datasets
Knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager/tag implementation a plus
World-class collaborator and communicator—team player with peers on cross-functional teams, communicating with precision, concision, and frequency
Strength in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (H-lookups, X-lookups, data manipulation, advanced formulas, modeling)
You are a people person—despite this role indexing high on the digitally-native scale, you will work closely with, communicate, and present regularly to others
Proficient-level experience with Tableau data visualization software (light SQL and coding knowledge as needed to support Tableau dashboarding and data loading)
High business acumen; able to read and comprehend an Ecommerce P&L

Hiring Range :
$73,440.00 USD - $91,800.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
