Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Radiologic procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

• TDSHS

• Technical or Vocational School Graduate

• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or State Registered Radiologic Technician

• 1 year of Radiology Tech experience is required.

• All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period (August 25 - April 5th).

• Three (3) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period.

• During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).

• Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.

• Seasonal staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.

• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy.

• Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses.

• Shifts may vary based on needs of the department.

• Current FT/PT/PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2024-2025.

• Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
