What You'll Do

You’ll care for and assess patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab playing an integral role on the Texas Health Denton care team. Perform H&Ps and write delegated physician orders including medications. You’ll address elements of core measures, plans for procedures and discharge. You’ll actively participate in a multidisciplinary care team.

What You’ll Need

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited physician assistant program is required.

  • Three years of PA experience is highly preferred.

  • One year of PA experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab/Heart & Vascular specialty is preferred.

  • PA - Physician Assistant license current in the state of Texas is required upon hire.

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required within 90 Days of hire.

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support is required prior to providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly.

  • NCCPA is preferred upon hire.

A successful candidate will also have the following skills:

Knowledge of computer documentation; good keyboard skills; working knowledge of the care and management of the patient in the setting.
