Hi Quality Manager!

Are you passionate about driving quality culture and ensuring project success? Join us as a Quality professional where you are ensuring that the technical quality standards and quality issues are dealt with. As part of an international team you’ll collaborate across borders to deliver projects with a high quality standard.

We have three open positions within quality, each with their own area of expertise:

Quality Engineer QA/QC

  • You’ll be responsible for regular quality inspections in our factories and ensure that our tailor-made equipment meets our quality standards.

Quality manager in projects

  • You drive the quality culture in our projects and assist in urgent project related quality issues.

Supplier quality manager

  • You ensure and improve the quality of supplied products and services for the international Datacenter business.

For each one the area of interest is different. In general you are responsible for:

  • Develop, control and execute quality plans tailored to project requirements.

  • Contribute to project planning to incorporate quality-relevant aspects from the sales phase.

  • Advise on quality methodologies and ensure their implementation.

  • Drive project quality reporting and cross functional cooperation.

  • Manage non-conformances professionally, including root-cause analysis.

  • Implement quality improvement methods and facilitate knowledge sharing across projects.

In our projects, we design and deliver power distribution solutions to our national and international customers. The project management and engineering team is based in The Hague. Production of our products and equipment is taking place in multiple factories in different countries. A typical project scope includes switchgear, transformers, E-houses, automation and protection systems.

Our worldwide teams at Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) are shaping the market for intelligent, adaptive infrastructure for today and the future! For 175 years already, Siemens addresses the pressing challenges of urbanization and climate change by connecting energy systems, buildings and industries.

You will convince us by your:

  • Technical bachelor’s or master’s degree.

  • Eye for detail, curious mind and able to deep dive and investigate issues.

  • Problem solving experience (8D, A3, RCA) and risk management (FMEA).

  • Preventive quality (lessons learned, A3, controls).

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a quality engineer/manager within electrical and /or mechanical industry; inspection, auditing, and testing.

  • Certification in quality control and experience in implementing corrective and preventive measures.

  • Willing to travel internationally (EU passport required).

  • Dutch and English speaking.
