Amazon Data Associate, 12month FTC in Den Haag, Netherlands

This is a 12months FTC role based onsite 5days/week in The Hague office

Who are we looking for:

• We are hiring Data Associates in our (Netherlands, The Hague) team to undertake labelling and data processing functions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work with a range of different types of data including but not limited to text, speech, image, audio and video.

  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable Amazon policies for securing confidential information.

  • Deliver high-quality data, using guidelines provided to meet our KPIs, and using in-house tools and software.

  • Creative thinking and excellent written communication skills. Attention to details and ability to adapt to dynamic changes.

  • Pro-activity in identifying issues with efficiency and accuracy.

  • Work on testing for workflow or feature launches if required.

  • Show Ownership and initiative when providing feedback for improvements to existing tooling that can increase the amount and quality of the data we process - we believe every ground-breaking change starts with a small idea!

About the team

The team works strictly in the office Monday through Friday with an eight-hour shift and two breaks half an hour each. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our capabilities and deliver the best product possible. Diverse team, regular meetings, trainings, and Amazon events throughout the year await you.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Den Haag, NLD

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent proficiency in Dutch language, including grammar and spelling (both written and verbal).

  • Comfortable working with speech from various dialects and accents of one or more of the following regional languages: Dutch

  • Business proficiency (B1+) in English language.

  • High-School or equivalent diploma.

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and web interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

  • Certification in any of the following: Technical Writing, Creative Writing, Dutch Literature, Dutch, Literary Arts, Linguistics, Dutch as a Second Language Teaching (EU only).

  • Experience working with speech or language data, including experience with annotation, and other forms of data markup.

  • Typing speed at 50 WPM or above.

  • Eye for detail and ability to pivot from one category of requirement to another instantaneously.

  • Research skills to navigate and synthesize multiple resources; understanding of basic academic integrity, i.e. plagiarism.

  • To be flexible in work timing and be ready at hand to meet delivery targets.
