Robert Half Project Controller in Delta, Ohio

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Controller in the finance industry, based in DELTA, Ohio. This role is pivotal to our team, focusing on the overall financial governance of various projects. The successful candidate will report, track, and present the spend versus budget/forecast of projects, and provide key insights into the project performance and status.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update project budgets and forecasts based on the project scope, schedule, and resources.

• Monitor and analyze the project spend and variances against the budget/forecast and report the results to the project managers and stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize the project data and metrics, such as cost, schedule, quality, and risks.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the project data and documentation in the project management system.

• Collaborate with the project managers and stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the project data and reporting.

• Provide recommendations and suggestions for improving the project performance and efficiency.

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform auditing and budget processes.

• Leverage knowledge of MS Great Plains Dynamics to deliver presentations and reports. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller role or similar financial leadership position

• Proven experience with accounting software systems is essential

• Familiarity with ERP solutions is required

• Strong understanding and experience in accounting functions

• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing experience is a must

• Experience in managing budget processes is necessary

• Proficiency in using MS Great Plains Dynamics is required

• Must have the ability to deliver presentations and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues and stakeholders.
