Job Title:  Grinding Operator       

Reports To:  Grinding Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assists in the operation of the feed ingredient Hammer Mills
• Follow work instructions from the Grinding Supervisor to determine what product, quantity, and specification to grind
• Coordinate when to use the shared unloading pit
• Transport the completed feed ingredient product to its proper location
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment; ensure all safety processes and procedures are adhered to and enforced
• Adhere to CGMPs as relevant to Food and Drug Administration
• Follow all customer and regulatory guidelines to guarantee safe for use and good quality ingredients to protect animal performance and health
• Assume responsibility for associated job responsibilities correlated to job task
