Student Staff will be expected to carry themselves in a profession, polite manner when interacting with Student Mail Center customers. Staff must be able to follow written and oral instruction from Student Mail Center/CSLE supervisory staff and make use of our mail center software for signing in and signing out mail and packages. Typica duties include but are not limited to: Answering questions, using our Mail Center software, moving, sorting and retrieving/delivering mail and packages at the center. We are looking for students who have a keen attention to detail and who can work in a high-paced team setting.

Responsibilities:

-Receive, Track, and store incoming mail and packages from all carriers (USPS, Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL)

-Greet Student Mail Center customers courteously and attend to their questions and requests appropriately

-Verify identity of customers picking up mail and packages

-Retrieve, sign out and hand over mail and packages to customers

-Assist in keeping Student Mail Center organized and presentable

-Assist in troubleshooting mail delivery issues

Job Requirements:

-Must have excellent communication skills

-Must be comfortable learning and using basic mail center software

-Must have 2.0 or higher GPA

-Able to lift packages up to 50 lbs. (preferred)

Salary: $15/hr
