SUNY Delhi STUDENT: Civic Ambassador in Delhi, New York

-Attend and be a part of the event planning process for annual Civic Holidays (Ex: National Voter Registration Day) throughout the academic year.

-Attend and be part of the event planning process for Voter Education programming throughout the semester.

-Lead Voter Registration drives on campus at various locations on campus property, in Residence Halls, and off-campus in the local community as available.

-Attend and represent Delhi Broncos Vote at Accepted Student Days, Student Activities Fair, Open Houses and any large-scale open campus events during the semester.

-Write submissions for Bronco Bulletin, Delhi Today and BroncoConnect articles on non-partisan issues.

-Conduct outreach to clubs and organizations to participate & plan collaborative events.

-Produce, distribute, and post ?yers and other promotional materials and assist with creating digital marketing materials such as flyers, Digital Screens, and Instagram reels.

-Be willing to participate in virtual trainings as available.

-Attend virtual monthly professional development team meetings.

Job Requirements:

-Students who are interested in encouraging the campus and local community through service learning, educational programing and non-partisan voter engagement

-Ability to work independently, with an understanding of task and time management.

-Dependable, punctual, good in person and email etiquette along with being technology savvy.

-Must have strong customer service skills, the ability to use good judgment, and exercise discretion.

-Comfortability engaging with a diverse set of individuals and groups.

-The student must be enrolled at SUNY Delhi.

-The student must be eligible to be awarded Work-Study through Financial Aid and have completed a FAFSA.

-Must be in good academic standing (minimum 2.5 GPA) and without any significant current judicial standing or history.

Additional Information:

Pay/Hours: $15.00

Hours are flexible and will be no more than 10/week.

Funding Source: Federal Work-Study Only
