As Account Receivables Manager , you will liaise with our international customers, our Commercial teams and banks. With production sites in Europe and North America; and Sales offices across the globe, you will be working and collaborating internationally.
This position is part of the Finance team located in Delft Netherlands or Fellbach, Germany and will be based on a hybrid basis.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Monitoring Outstanding Receivables : Keep track of all customer accounts and aging reports . Timely collection of open invoices for the European based entities and close collaboration with our entities in US, China and India.
Collections Management : Contacting customers to follow up on overdue payments. Developing and implementing effective collections strategies and negotiation of payment plans or settlements with customers.
Credit Risk Management: Oversee credit risk exposure and assign and review credit limits based on credit management policy .
DVM: Drive daily visual Management and create and implement standardized policies and procedures for cash collection across regions.
Customer Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with customers to facilitate smooth payment processes.
Reconciliation and Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting of AR balances and ensure alignment with accounting and financial planning for accurate cash flow forecasting.
Stakeholder Communication: Present updates to senior leadership on collection trends, risks, and progress in process improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
5+ of experience in accounts receivable, cash collection, or credit control, ideally with a global scope
Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in Economics. Understanding of US GAAP, or similar standards for receivables and revenue recognition.
Familiarity with international payment terms and global financial regulations.
Proven ability to work across departments such as IT, sales, and finance.
Have advanced skills in Excel and automated financial systems
Have a good command in English language, verbally and in writing. German language is plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or drive cross-departmental initiatives.
