The Human Resources Business Partner and Project Lead will play a vital role in supporting leaders for assigned functions and lead key HR projects. The incumbent is responsible for supporting, advising, and collaborating with functional leaders to deliver and develop a broad range of HR services. You will be at the heart of people transactions and provide support in the following critical areas: organizational change; recruiting and talent management; engagement and retention; benefits; HR systems and processes, HR compliance, general policy administration, and workforce planning. As a Project Lead, you will plan, execute, and successfully complete projects within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your role involves coordinating and leading teams, managing resources, and ensuring that all project objectives are met.

You will be a part of the Life Sciences Human Resources team and report to the Sr. Manager, Continuous Improvement Leader. This is a solutions-oriented role, requiring collaborative and innovative leadership to build and develop a positive working environment for associates. This is a remote role with preference for East Coast time zone.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • HRBP for Assigned Client Groups – 50% time spent

  • Partner with functional leaders and their teams to support HR administration, initiatives, and strategies that directly support and enable business and talent strategy.

  • Support key talent and management development including collaborating with leaders regarding team development, succession, and personal & professional development of associates.

  • Drive and sustain core process supporting performance management – challenge

managers to accurately assess and make appropriate determinations around talent, and support them working through those decisions.

  • Manage HR Operations (onboarding, offboarding, LOA etc.) for Platform associates

  • Project Leader - 50% time spent

  • Effectively plan projects, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.

  • Build and lead project teams, assigning tasks, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, risk assessments, and change logs. Generate comprehensive project reports and present them to stakeholders as required.

  • Motivate and influence to drive project success through vision-setting, clear communication, and relationship-building.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or similar field with 5+ years experience or master’s degree with 3+ years

  • 2+ years experience managing global projects

  • Multiple years of experience of US employment laws and relevant institutions, including EEOC, INS, ADEA, ERISA, ADA, FMLA and FLSA

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time (domestic and international)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Minimum 1-2 years with a Danaher Operating Company

  • Experience with Transactional Process Improvement or Value Stream Mapping

  • Experience working in diverse global environments

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $155,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
