Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Machine Operator position located in Deland, FL 32724 zip code.

Pay Rate: $ 16.50/HR

Shift: Monday – Friday 6:50am – 3:20pm

Job Responsibilities:

• The production associate has responsibilities to safely perform job functions at the highest level of quality in the processing of media, mesh and elements.

• Key responsibilities/essential functions include inspecting, cutting, staging, unstaging and laying-up of dynalloy, fibermet and continuous media rolls as well as operating both large and small rolling mills.

• Operating continuous Hydrogen furnace and Vacuum furnaces.

• Inspecting, trimming and packaging of media products.

• Reading and following complex work procedures and schematics or receiving verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

• Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.

• Works with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Comply with EHS regulations and policies including wearing required PPE.

• 1 year experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is required.

• Basic math skills and measuring skills are required.

• Accuracy with both calipers and micrometers.

• Attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.

• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods.

• Must be able to read and write simple statements.

• Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment
