Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of our facility's equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elder care, a strong understanding of maintenance and repair procedures, and a commitment to providing quality care to our residents.

This position is for Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio and Gardens of Paulding in Paulding, Ohio. The typical work week would be three days (24 hours total) at Brookview and two days at Paulding (16 hours total). Valid driver's license is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility
• Repair equipment and facilities as needed
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility problems
• Order and maintain maintenance supplies
• Work with other departments to ensure that the needs of residents are met

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair
• Strong understanding of maintenance and repair procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have valid driver's license

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
