Riverside Community Care Accounts Payable Specialist - Part Time in Dedham, Massachusetts

Excellent opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as an Accounts Payable Specialist!

In this important position, the Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the processing and payment of all approved invoices, check requests, and travel reimbursements.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will:

  • process invoices, check requests, and reimbursements submitted in hardcopy or electronically in accordance with Riverside payment term policies and file appropriately

  • process EFT payments and perform the weekly check run & off-cycle checks as needed

  • provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

  • adhere to all policies and deadlines, and support the audit process

  • provide back-up for other A/P functions and provide other duties as needed

    Our ideal candidate will have excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word as well as a general comfort level in an increasingly technological environment as Riverside Community Care is moving to a mostly paperless environment.

    Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail, good use of judgement on when to escalate issues, and the ability to problem solve in a function where it isn’t possible to cover every possible scenario in a documented policy

  • Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word are essential, as well as a general comfort level in an increasingly technological environment

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • One year of prior A/P experience preferred

  • Experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics or other General Ledger system preferred
