Decatur Diamond, LLC, a leading manufacturer of diamond-based tooling, is seeking a qualified person to perform production control duties and also work in our shipping department. This individual will also be doing some general office duties, i.e. running errands, picking up and dropping off tools at vendor locations.

The hours for this position will be 7:30AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday /[Starting Wage Range will be - $16.00 - $18.00 based on experience**

• Run planner benches (Material Planner Workbench Generation) in ERP system to replenish finished goods Inventories
• Creation of Purchase Orders to procure necessary goods and services
• Generating job orders for manufacturing and current manufacturing prints
• Assembling job packets and picking necessary materials
• Running back order query's
• Updating reorder points in ERP system
• Daily communication with production control management and customer service regarding issues that impact delivery schedules.
• Assistance in the shipping/receiving department.
• Basic errands, picking up and dropping off tools at our vendor locations
• Help maintain inventory control levels

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license and have an excellent driving record
• Possess strong computer skills (strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required)
• Possess strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
