Decatur Diamond, LLC, a leading manufacturer of diamond-based tooling, is seeking Machine Operators for 1st shift for our production facility located in Decatur, IN. This person will be responsible for set-up and operation of production machinery.

The hours for this position will be 6:30AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday /[Starting Wage Range will be** - $17.00 - $19.00 based on experience

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, capable of using measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, etc. Trade school or prior machining experience is preferred, butwe will train the right individual. Responsibilities for Machine Operator ]{calibri=""}**

• Set up machinery for operation
• Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
• Troubleshoot issues and perform daily maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

Qualifications for Machine Operator

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience is preferred but will train the right individual.
• Must be detail-oriented
• Understanding of production and plant processes
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Products, Outlook, Excel and Word
• Good Math Skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team
