Academy Of Scholars Admissions Manager in Decatur, Georgia

The Academy of Scholars is seeking a dynamic Admissions Manager.

The Admissions Manager manages all aspects of recruitment and

admissions for The Academy of Scholars. It is a full-time, 12-month

position with some evenings and weekends required.       

The Admissions Manager is responsible for attracting a broad, diverse,

and mission-aligned applicant pool to enroll in the school, meeting

enrollment targets and other identified goals, promoting the school,

guiding families through the admissions process from initial inquiry to

acceptance and enrollment.

He or she must have or demonstrate the following:

  • communication skills

  • strong marketing expertise

He or she must possess the following attributes:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and experience in

admissions. Experience working in a school or as a professional secretary for a law or accounting office a plus. Passion for working with students and families in a diverse,

inclusive educational setting, integrity, professionalism, high ethical

standards, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality are essential

qualities. The position requires superior organizational and

communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to work both

independently and cooperatively. An appreciation for The Academy of

Scholars’ commitment to academic and personal excellence, values, and

diversity is essential.
