Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to work for one of their leading automotive clients. This team is investing in advancing Range and Routing for commercial and retail customers to enhance the vehicle experience and provide real time updates on electric vehicles battery ranges. This individual will be part of a team that is learning specific electric vehicles driving styles and other external factors that impact EVs battery range. The ideal candidate has experience in data analysis/modeling and java development. This is a hybrid role, local to Dearborn, MI.

Responsibilities Include:

 Handling large databases/analyzing data

 Technical documentation

 Coding, testing, deploying

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience with SQL, NoSQL, and Python

 3+ years of experience with Java, Springboot to support data-driven solutions

 2+ years of experience with cloud services

 Previous experience building applications in a data-focused role GCP experience

 Previous Ford experience null
