We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.

Position Summary: The Workplace's mission is to enhance the work environment for employees by providing top-notch services that improve the work experience. Recognizing that employees spend considerable time at work, the Workplace Manager prioritizes employee well-being and cultivating a positive and healthy work environment.

The Workplace Manager collaborates with a professional team, clients, landlords, and vendors to manage daily operations and enhance individual welfare, personal productivity, and organizational effectiveness.

The Workplace Manager's responsibilities are diverse and crucial. They manage schedules, budgets, resources, and project deliverables related to the Workplace. This includes space and occupancy planning, office assignments for departments, office layout, furniture allocation, and the management of meeting and breakroom spaces. They also coordinate with building owners on shared spaces and collaborate with department leaders and employees to ensure a productive, safe, and positive work environment.

Essential Duties

  • Manage and supervise office environment, including layout and space planning, office furniture and decor arrangement, and office supplies management.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to plan company events such as seasonal events, special occasions, and company meetings. Also, support arranging venues and services for major events and internal and external visits as needed by management.

  • Common space management and maintenance include the café, break room, meeting room, restrooms, entrance, lobby, and corridors.

  • Ensure that the workplace standards of Panasonic Energy North are replicated at other locations, including Northern Nevada and Kansas.

  • Collaborates with the leadership team and clients to develop goals, objectives, and focus areas to create workplace experience services that align with the company's goals and Workplace Policy.

  • Provides valuable input to leadership, internal clients, vendors, and landlords on business space utilization and property condition for internal projects, influencing design and aesthetics.

  • Anticipates and addresses the needs and concerns of various internal clients. Collaborates to solve problems and resolves spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and customer service orientation.

  • Engages in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by leveraging business intelligence, adopting, and participating in developing best practices, including new tools and ideas that provide service delivery efficiencies.

  • Facilitates customer connection with account and site-related amenities and requirements (e.g., safety, security, space for individual work, meeting rooms, office supplies, equipment, AV/technology systems, catering, etc.)

  • Undertakes thorough research of local areas/markets to ensure that all experiences offered are as novel and unique to the market as possible. This strategic approach helps to maintain the business's competitive edge and relevance.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with employees and the business to improve on-site employee and guest experience throughout the account.

  • Provides timely communication about change management and business-impacting events.

Qualifications & Requirements - Required and/or Preferred.

Education

  • Basic/Required: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Preferred Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in business, workplace management, interior architecture, or design, preferred or equivalent education and/or experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • A proficient command of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.

  • Minium five years of experience in workplace or facilities management, workplace interior design.

  • A minimum of five years of direct management in this position environment or related responsibility is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in office management on a large scale is required, and experience in start-ups is preferred.

  • Being open to accepting challenges and executing plans to achieve the target and deadlines based on leadership's timeline.

  • Being positive, proactive, and collaborative with other team members is essential for building a successful project.

  • Create a strategy from the big picture and manage operations by being meticulous.

  • The ability and proficiency to collect, analyze, and present data.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Proficient in computer and technology usage, with the ability to efficiently complete job tasks, including daily responsibilities, online learning requirements, accessing online forms and policies, and completing online benefits enrollment.
