Panasonic North America Sr. Supply Chain Analyst in De Soto, Kansas

Overview

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will have direct interface and influence within the Supply Chain organization while working closely with the Commercial Sales, Manufacturing, Finance & Sr. Leadership. Serving as a member of the overall Kansas Supply Chain Team, this highly visible role will report directly into the Director of Supply Chain Planning.

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.

Position Summary: The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will have direct interface and influence within the Supply Chain organization while working closely with the Commercial Sales, Manufacturing, Finance & Sr. Leadership. Serving as a member of the overall Kansas Supply Chain Team, this highly visible role will report directly into the Director of Supply Chain Planning.

Essential Duties:

  • Extract, validate, and control system parameters and supply/demand data used for statistical modeling.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain team, Manufacturing, Logistics and Procurement to effectively align global supply with the demand plan of record.

  • Prepare and give detailed data-driven reports and accompanying insights to functional partners, focused on identification of changes, risks and opportunities in the demand planning.

  • Extract insights from data and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions to other functional areas and Sr. Leadership.

  • Key leader in the Production Sales & Inventory process, developing and distributing monthly reports and analytics to key stakeholders to communicate trending for strategic decision-making.

  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on significant variances to plan, perform root cause analysis and make communicate key drivers and recommendations to leadership.

  • Leverage existing and new technologies to provide insights for strategic and operational decision making by a large stakeholder group.

  • Gather and decipher complex requirements to develop more user friendly and impactful ways of reporting and communicating information.

  • Lead and manage special projects, and ad-hoc requests.

  • Analyze data sets including demand forecasts, revenue forecasts, inventory, logistics planning, and supplier performance to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Utilize data visualization techniques to build dashboards and present complex supply chain insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Other projects as assigned.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education

  • Basic/Required: BA/BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field of study

  • Preferred: MBA

Essential Qualifications

  • 8+ years working in Supply Chain doing complex statistical analysis

  • 8+ years Supply/Demand Planning experience

  • ASCM/APICS, and/or PMP Certifications a plus

  • Energy, Technology, Automotive or Manufacturing industry experience

  • Operational transformation experience including ERP and SCM Systems implementation including SCM Planning tools.

  • Proven background setting up a best-in-class Supply Chain Planning

  • Strategic thinking and analysis capabilities including identifying risks and opportunities across the Supply Chain.

  • Demonstrated communication, presentation, and writing skills.

  • Data analytical skills to drive decision making

  • Ability to solve complex problems and propose alternative solutions

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization as well as externally to customers & suppliers

  • Ability to communicate cross-culturally with Japanese colleagues and business leaders in English.

  • Collaboration and influencing skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
