Location: DeSoto, Kansas Position: Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment, following diagrams, sketches, and specifications.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

• Dismantle and reassemble machines using hand and power tools.

• Inspect and replace worn or defective parts.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

• Work a 12-hour shift schedule and overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.

• Ability to read and understand technical documentation.

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

• Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift certification (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

• Standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulders frequently.

• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as production machines, conveyor systems and equipment.

• Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.

• Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area, using hand tools and power tools.

• Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.

• Removes and replaces worn and defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system, using hand tools and power tools, and following blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals.

• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift schedule.

• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.
