JOB REQUIREMENTS: BTG IPI, a division of BTG located in De Pere, WI has an opening for a Full-time 1st shift General Assembler. This is an Entry level position! The General Assembler is responsible for assembling parts according to special instructions, routings, and blueprints. This role will be responsible for measuring parts to specified tolerances, operating lathe, milling machine, hand tools, and pneumatic tools to aid in assembly. The General Assembler will be responsible for completing task as directed by manufacturing scheduling with minimal supervision including maintaining their work areas and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. It is essential that the General Assembler is able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools in this role. The physical conditions include lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
