Hybrid, work from home on Monday's and Friday's

Our client, a mid-size manufacturing company is looking for an accountant to join their dynamic team. Our client offers a VERY strong compensation package, great benefits, hybrid work schedule (work from home on Monday and Friday) and a friendly culture!

General Responsibilities;

· Maintain and update fixed asset records.

· Ensure proper accounting for acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.

· Coordinate and assist in the annual physical inventory count.

· Prepare and file sales and use tax returns accurately and timely.

· Prepare and file CAT tax returns.

· Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts.

· Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.

· Process vendor invoices and payments, maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers

Requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Prepare and record monthly journal entries.

· Assist in the month-end closing process.
